Message from the Artistic Director
Neruda Productions began as a coincidence, a work of fate and dreams combined. It was my perception that we needed more diverse arts and culture in the region. I knew that my own experience coming from another country (Chile) and trying to be part of the ever evolving arts community here, could help to raise awareness about how much we can all benefit from celebrating our diversity.

I discovered my goal, my purpose and my philosophy and translated it all into a new passion.
After a long road and with the help of many amazing people, Neruda Productions became product of that passion and the beginning of a great reality. Our goal is to build bridges between the Arts communities, and bring together existing and newly arrived talent coming here from all over the world to make Waterloo Region their home. Our purpose is to build a more inclusive arts community, develop a wider audience base, with the philosophy that by providing an evening of powerful, emotional and enlightening theatre, visual arts, performance, concerts and exhibitions, we will all learn more about each other and celebrate in the ever changing richness and diversity of our collective cultural heritage.
