We're bursting with excitement to share some incredible news with you. Eco-Coffee Corporation, also known as EcoCoffee or EcoCafe, has taken a bold step in our journey to bring you the finest coffee experiences. We've officially purchased a beautiful coffee plantation nestled in the breathtaking mountains just outside Aratoca, Santander, Colombia!

For years, we've been passionate about sourcing the highest quality beans and building relationships with incredible coffee growers. This venture takes our commitment to the next level, allowing us to be directly involved in every stage of the coffee process, from seed to cup.

Why Santander?

Santander is a hidden gem in the Colombian coffee world, known for its unique microclimates and rich volcanic soil. The region's high altitudes and consistent rainfall create the perfect environment for growing exceptional Arabica beans. Aratoca, in particular, is renowned for its dedication to traditional cultivation methods, resulting in coffees with complex flavors and distinct characteristics.

Our Vision for the Plantation

We're not just buying a plantation; we're investing in a community and the environment. Our vision is to:

• Cultivate Truly Sustainable Practices: We are deeply committed to environmentally responsible farming. This means absolutely no pesticides are used on our plantation. We rely solely on organic materials for the nutrition of our plants, ensuring a healthy ecosystem and a pure, unadulterated coffee experience. Furthermore, we will be implementing advanced water conservation techniques, including a natural wastewater recovery system. Utilizing the natural filtration properties of the mountainside, we will create a sustainable irrigation system, minimizing our environmental footprint.
• Empower Local Farmers: We believe in fair trade and building strong relationships with the local farmers who have cultivated this land for generations. We aim to provide fair wages, support community development, and share our knowledge of best practices.
• Enhance Quality and Traceability: By owning our plantation, we gain complete control over the entire coffee production process. This allows us to ensure the highest quality standards and offer full traceability from our farm to your cup.

We've fallen in love with the beauty and serenity of Aratoca, and we know you will too, through our coffee.

What's Next?

We're currently working with a local cooperative by the name of Hacienda la Pradera as well as agronomists and local experts to design and implement our sustainable farming practices and optimize the plantation's potential. We'll be sharing regular updates on our progress, including photos and videos of our journey.
